Marott Center
Indianapolis
Project Information
Built in 1907, and located in the heart of the Massachusetts Avenue Historic Arts District, the building was originally constructed as a department store. Under the Historic Tax Credit Program, the building was totally renovated, with first floor commercial uses and office space on the upper levels. Among the distinctive features of the building are the main floor tin ceiling, and the 5 level ornamental wood stairway. A new atrium light well brings illumination deep into the center of the structure. 1986-2020
