Project Information
The name is taken from Kurt Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle, a vehicle that brings people together for a higher purpose. Situated in the Windsor Park community, the building’s massing and materials are designed as a welcoming civic presence. The entry/lobby faces the north lawn with broad, generous windows. Three intimate theatres, varying from 39 to 140 sears, all provide superior sightlines. Serving the mission of the Indianapolis Film Project, the structure includes additional areas for lectures, exhibits and private film screenings. The building also houses the Kan Kan Brasserie. 2021
