Project Information
Built with material purchased from a friend in the contracting business, the Northern Cherry was taken from farmland north of Indianapolis. Originally cut into planks 2-1/2" thick, the wood was allowed to air dry for over 2 years before fabrication. Designed to seat up 10, the table incorporates a hidden, folding leaf. Finished with natural oil, and partially textured by a 4-year old with a metal spoon. Designed & Fabricated by the Architect. 30" H X 40" W X 84" L (100" w/leaf). 1982
